Responsible for the technical aspects of the customer and product. In this function you will co-operate closely with the relevant Plants and will work in close collaboration with the Regional Product Manager and Global Customer Product Manager team
Align all SSA product activities with the global product activities of customer (i.e. priorities, targets, etc.).
Manage the life-cycle of the existing product groups (i.e. timelines, check points, etc.).
Define market needs for product technology, product quality and service as well as initiation of solutions.
Develop new product (groups) until market entry, together with local operations team sales and the customer (including trials attendance, communication).
Evaluate and drive customer relevant innovations (i.e. innovation days, specific workshops, etc.).
Responsible for ensuring specifications as per customer requirements (definition and composition of material structures, selection of right raw materials and definition of the single raw material layers including thickness and grammage) and defining the right production parameters for the internal manufacturing of the packaging materials (selection of the right production process, production parameters, define quality proof plan for Certificate of Analysis - COA).
Co-ordinate preparation of technical specifications / DoC / CoC based on the customer’s input for the relevant plants and QM.
Co-ordinate resolution of internal production problems for the relevant products together with internal partners.
Co-ordinate resolution of internal and external quality and quality claims together with QM.
Perform Market Intelligence studies regarding material, machinery suppliers and end-customer needs together with the customer, internal sales and the Global PM.
Support sales in customer visits through technical presentations / expertise and innovation.
Co-operate with the other PM’s and share relevant technical knowledge within the technical organization.
Co-operate with machinery suppliers and film suppliers.
Foster a sustainability approach throughout the organization.
Perform special customer projects based on the annual targets.
Be part of the company and Global Customer footprint strategy to align specifications and lead plant principles.
