Manage all asset maintenance, including lands, roads, office and domestic buildings and building equipment, electrics, vehicles, tractors, generators, factories, boilers etc.
Fabrication projects which would include designing and constructing machines or equipment as may be required.
Further develop the maintenance department to incorporate turning, milling, rolling etc
Implement training programs for employee development and ensuring back-up of key personnel positions
Provides performance data to management and focuses on continuous improvement.
Management of all stocks and stores of assets, spare parts and maintenance consumables, ensuring cataloging of assets and ensuring adequate levels of spares and consumables.
Departmental budget development and management for maintenance and capital development projects.

Responsibilities will include:
Checks and ensures that all refrigeration equipment and machinery is kept in good running order at all times
Mandatory hourly checks and records findings on log sheets provided.
Maintains and fills in the refrigeration log book daily.
Report any faults on the Refrigeration equipment
Carries out maintenance and repair works on the refrigeration
Monitors the utilization of available resources to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness
Provides regular update on works in progress.

Duties will be varied, the client is looking for a mature person who is able to work under pressure
Workshop Manager â€“ working in conjunction with the current workshop manager and will stand in as manager when the current manager is away
The role would be full workshop management overseeing 120 staff and working with the transport manager to make sure availability of equipment and lead times of getting equipment out of the workshops, overseeing a fully fledged breakdown team, 3 small workshops out in the field 50 km away, overseeing stock ordering with purchase department, writing reports when need be, dealing with suppliers and working on budgets with the accounts department.
Must have worked on Agricultural related equipment including Harvesters
Carry out daily plant checks
Service, repair and maintenance of machinery components
Reduce equipment breakdown incidences
Fault Finding and trouble shooting
Fitting and Turning
Ability to Carry out Assigned Duties to Governed Technical Standards

Duties to include:
Construct, assemble, maintain and repair boilers
Direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. Inspect and repair boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, automatic-control mechanisms, water columns, and auxiliary machines.
The right candidate will be responsible for supervising jobs on site and ensuring standards are followed as per companys requirements
An electrical electro mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage
