Make sure that Company brands are well presented in terms of:
? Stock on the shelves ? Visibility within the store ? Positioning within the store Monitor retail standards and ensure brand principles and global strategies are correct as per the requirements specified on planograms and marketing books.
Ensure brands merchandising tools and point of sale material are effectively utilised.
Co-ordinating of local brand merchandising – ensuring in store promotions and window displays are put up on time and represent the brand in the correct manner.
Assist in competitor analysis – taking photos and gathering information on competitor activities within the market.
Conduct regular marketing research on brand performance and/or/against competitor brands – utilizing tools such as questionnaires designed for BA’s and requesting reports from the retail partners.

Assist in co-ordinating training of BA’s and liaising with the retail partners regarding the training – both on counter training activities and formalized training events
Assist with advertising, promotions and public relations activities including events and social media.
Work as the remote satellite office/custodian of the companys brands within the market.
Ability to communicate regularly with head office.
Ability to implement Area Manager’s Strategies as well as uphold the company culture within the market.

Have excellent communications skills - be able to communicate well in a very straightforward and assertive
Have good people skills – a lot of time will be spent with retail partners and store sales staff. You are required to understand their personalities and accommodate them.

Proven track record of growing a business in Zambia or a similar market, including the build-out of team and relevant systems
Familiarity across all functions of Sales & Marketing (Sales, Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Advertising, Brand strategy, POS systems and analytics, Distribution / Deliveries, etc)
Responsibilities will include
Procurement of all stock for all branches
Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
Presenting new ranges to senior retail managers
Stock control / Pricing
Liaising with shop personnel to ensure product/collection supply meets demand
Producing monthly reports
