Success does not hinge on precise work experience although experience in automotive sales is a huge plus.
You will spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options

Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features

Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency
Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills

(Preferred) Membership of The Institute of the Motor Industry.
Strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
Handle creation of job duties and delegate tasks to workers
Create and monitor schedules for each worker and ensure that he has the physical and mental ability to cope
Ensure accuracy of work orders prior to handing them out and ensure that time efficiency is taken into account
Ensure that all machinery and tools are available to the crew and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance
Perform inspections to ensure that the crews performance is up to the set standards
Ensure that all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner
Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant info is communicated to the manager
Ensure periodic maintenance and proper storage of equipment and tools
5 - 10 years experience
To organise all departmental activities to ensure the most efficient and profitable operation of the Aftersales Department by satisfying customers and enhancing customer relations
To organise the aftersales department and in particular, control resources and assets at a level commensurate with profit targets
To maximise departmental profitability through the effective marketing and sale of labour, parts, accessories, other charges, subcontracted services and other value-added products and services
To create an environment where the department and its staff develop and excel

The role will work with the Workshop Manager and repair and maintain all auto-electrics on large vehicles and heavy machinery.
Worked on Mac, Volvo and CAT vehicles and machinery in prior positions
Responsible for the sale of tyres and vehicle accessories
Dealing with and assisting customers
Tyre and vehicle accessory knowledge would be an advantage
-will supervise the day to day operations of the tyre fitment centre, in order to maximise sales volumes, turnover and customer satisfaction in all areas of the business
. -oversee the operations of the workshop to ensure workmanship exceeds company standards and customer expectations.
-provide workshop technicians with an accurate description of the repair job to be done or service/product to be supplied on a customer vehicle.
-Customer Service Desk/Front Office Administration

-High levels of computer literacy particulary Sage Evolution or any other ERP systems
-Experience of working with alloy rims and heavy weight tyres will be a distinct advantage.
-Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
-Be punctual and have great time management skills
- VALID AND CLEAN Class 4 drivers’ licence is a must.
